Optika B-500TDK Compound LED Darkfield for Live Cell Viewing A High Performance Live Cell Analysis Microscope
Designed for optimal performance in routine laboratory use, the Optika B-500TDK microscope is the perfect choice for live cell analysis. The ample 22mm field of view and the high-point eyepieces allow for hours of use without eye fatigue. Additionally the InfiniFix optical system, the two worlds of infinity-corrected and 160 mm optical system find the way to meet each other. With this exclusive optical system this microscope uses a true infinity-corrected optical path, implemented with the standard 160 mm objectives.
This microscope is equipped with Optika’s revolutionary X-LED illumination system that features a high-efficiency single chip LED which works in combination with a special optical lens designed to double the intensity of the LED light. The resulting illumination is equivalent to a 30-35W halogen bulb, but with a color temperature of 6300K so that users have pure white light instead of yellow. This makes the B-500TDK ideal for light-intensive applications, such as phase contrast or darkfield, without the need for complex active cooling.
The B-500TDK’s LED lasts for 50,000 hours, instead of 1,500 hours and requires just 10% of the electricity of a comparably bright halogen system.
The modern stand design, with accessible and ergonomic controls, complements and enhances the instrument’s usability. A generously sized double layer stage, suitable for two specimen slides, optimally completes the instrument. The B-500TDK microscope may also be equipped with accessories such as phase contrast, polarizing set, photo or video adapter, and eyepieces.
