These
models utilize a set of 3 standard AA alkaline batteries to
power the LED light
for up to 150 hours of operation from each set. The
LED element is rated for 100,000 hours life, longer than any
other type of illumination. The Series LA microscopes allow complete freedom from cords and
outlets, while using the standard microscope format most
commonly used in U.S. schools. They are perfect for a wide variety of uses with their
rugged metal frames, precision
optical glass lenses and components, and locked-on parts. Each microscope is
shipped in a fitted
styrofoam case with batteries, dustcover, and instruction manual included.
